OUR NEW SRE ENGINEERING MANAGER

As an SRE Engineering Manager you will wear several hats – technical lead and team manager for our Site Reliability Engineering team. You will leverage your strong engineering skills to tackle challenging problems alongside your team, while also providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. 

SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage a team of SRE’s, providing technical guidance, and mentorship         
• Collaborate closely with the Internal and External stakeholders to align on product and service improvements and project delivery scopes and timelines
• Ensure quality, stewardship and engineering excellence in all deliverables
• Manage people allocation to Operational and Development activities
• Develop and implement engineering strategies and initiatives to drive technical excellence and innovation    
• Perform HR responsibilities for the engineering teams:

    conduct performance reviews

SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong technical background in infrastructure domain                                                     
• Experience in building and scaling Infrastructure engineering teams, ensuring focus on quality and efficiency with the help of tools and ceremonies
• Understanding different business contexts and be advocate for sustainable solutions
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as well as fluent in English
• Proven experience in managing and leading, also mentoring and developing technical teams
  
  
  

It would be awesome, if you have:

• Cloud certifications: Microsoft Azure or AWS or Google Cloud                                                 
• Process certifications: ITIL, SRE, DevOps, Scrum or similar
• Experience with Infrastructure components (for example, but not limited to servers, databases, virtualisation solutions, networking, containerization and observability)
