My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe and sustainable air travel.

About the Role

Reporting to the technical lead, you will work on the development of a multiplatform solution for the Aviation Sector, and will be overall responsible for the following key activities:

• Contribute to our Angular/Typescript based web application.

• Maintenance and creation of dynamic Aviation-specific displays, including interactive cartography (e.g. live maps)

• Management of related infrastructure, dependent services, and deployment concerns

Key Duties:

• Create and maintain Angular UX components.

• Create and maintain dynamic aviation SVG graphics from real-time data.

• Work with Map Libre library to display real-time aviation data.

• Process and transform GIS data in common formats.

• Participate in SCRUM and Agile project-management processes.

What we are looking for

• Angular / TypeScript (at least 2 years)

• SCSS / SASS

• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Nice to have skills:

• MapLibre (JavaScript map library)

• OpenGL

• Other GIS tools (GDAL, PostGIS, PyQGIS)

• Docker

• Redux

• RxJS

Candidates must be open to working 3 days per week in the office in Barcelona, 2 days remote.
