Job Description
As a Product Manager in one of our newly founded Product Units, you will bridge technical and commercial stakeholders and lead the direction for your product portfolio with energy and momentum. You will ensure the product strategy and roadmap are up to date, monitor life cycle cost and value, and initiate new product development.
Collaborating with our Marketing Managers, you will oversee successful product launches and introductions to new and existing markets, monitor competitor products, and ensure our portfolio remains market leading. You will analyze markets, customers, and industry trends to maximize value creation and profitability.
Working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and business development, you will define product requirements and ensure successful development as a project or product owner. As the natural contact point for our global markets, you will act as a hub between the technology environment and TOMRA’s sales and service organization, scheme operators, and new market initiatives.
The position will be based at TOMRA's HQ in Asker, Norway.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a product strategy and roadmap aligned with TOMRA’s customer needs and growth strategy. Initiate new product developments and ensure timely phase-outs.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive products, informing product development and strategy.
- Identify new business opportunities within your portfolio and communicate them to stakeholders. Participate as Product and Solution Management coordinator in New Market Entry projects.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback with Technical Product Management, define and track key performance metrics to measure success and identify improvements.
- Contribute to tender processes and business case calculations for sales and services. Define sales and service strategies, set transfer prices, and recommended sales or license prices for your portfolio.
- Monitor and follow up on Life Cycle Cost, Life Cycle Value, and competitiveness for your products.
Who are you?
- Higher university degree within business-related or technical subjects
- 3+ years’ experience in product management
- Result oriented, commercial, and analytical mindset
- Ability to motivate and inspire others is critical
- Ability to lead initiatives and take strategic decisions for your products, daring to take ownership that leads to action
- Excellent storytelling skills in English and preferably Norwegian; additional language skills and international experience is an advantage
