Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy complex .NET applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, and related technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework).

Work collaboratively with front-end developers to integrate with back-end systems

Develop reusable packages and options parameters with scaffolding

Ensure code quality by utilizing testing frameworks like Jasmine and/or Karma and xUnit

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX/UI designers, product owners, QA, etc.) to deliver high-quality software on time.

Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to address and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Contribute to documentation efforts, including API documentation, internal wiki updates, and technical specifications.

Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness to ensure an excellent end-user experience.

Implement security best practices within the development process to prevent vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, CSRF).

Use version controller tools like GitHub (GIT), TFS, etc.

Requirements

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in software development

Expertise in .NET Core (v3.1+ required, v6 preferred) and .NET Framework

Database Skills: Deep knowledge of SQL Server (stored procedures, indexing, query optimization, etc.).

Experience in cloud services, especially AWS

Strong knowledge of Docker file writing

Experience with RDBMS databases

Familiarity with entity framework and microservices architecture

Proficiency in XUnit testing framework

Microsoft/AWS certifications and Lambdas experience are also beneficial

Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions to automate and streamline the deployment process.

Ability to work with large-scale distributed systems and solve complex engineering problems related to performance, fault tolerance, and high availability.

Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus to enhance collaboration with front-end teams.

Database Skills: Deep knowledge of SQL Server (stored procedures, indexing, query optimization, etc.).

Security Best Practices: Authentication & Authorization, Data Encryption & Protection
