Network Engineer

Network Engineer | Hybrid | Subject Matter Leadership

Our client is renowned by their dynamic nature and innovative culture, committed to delivering unparallel value. This role will be a Senior position with the view of assisting members in the team across the network space.

Based in Geelong, you will play a crucial role in their Network & Cloud team, contributing to the development and integration of cutting-edge solutions. The role will see you working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing mentorship to others whilst delivering high level outcomes.

This will be offered as a permanent full-time role with a hybrid working from home arrangement and salary up to $130,000 + super.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Design, deliver, configure, maintain and improve IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, cloud platforms, network switching, firewalls and load balancers.
• Configure and manage virtual networking components both on-premises and within Microsoft Azure.
• Oversee deployment and maintenance of network equipment within datacentres.
• Contribute to the delivery of company’s strategic plan and objectives.
  
  
  

The skills/experience needed will include but not be limited to:

• Strength in networking technologies such as SD-WAN, Firewalls, Switching, IPAM, Load Balancers.
• High competency with network architecture, configuration and deployment.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and principles.
• VMware NSX micro-segmentation design and implementation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure & 365 Cloud services.
• Advantageous: FortiGate, Aruba
