Title: PowerBI Analyst

Location: Remote - U.S. Based

Description

  • As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support project teams by delivering essential data solutions and insights across the organization.
  • This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deploy and refine data strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience designing, building, and deploying data visualization solutions to support enterprise-wide analytics needs.
  • This position requires a strong background in business intelligence development, data modeling, and analytics.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop operational and automated reports and interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools.
  • Design and test graphical and visualization solutions based on business requirements, utilizing various data sources such as relational databases and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Create scripts and ETL/ELT pipelines to move and transform data across enterprise systems.
  • Extract and integrate data from cloud-based systems using APIs, JSON, and other integration tools.
  • Build, maintain, and support daily data visualization and reporting needs from analytics platforms.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data strategies.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong experience with business intelligence tools (including premium or embedded versions).
  • Advanced SQL expertise with experience in query optimization.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python for data transformation and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud-based data solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
  • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling principles.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues across teams.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable data solutions.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data processing frameworks.
  • Exposure to data visualization best practices and UI/UX principles for dashboards.
  • Industry experience in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) is a plus.

Compensation

Pay Range: $49-$70/Hr
