Position Title: DevOps Engineer

Work Location: Bangalore

Position Overview

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for refining and enhancing the development, testing, and deployment workflows for our software products. This role works hand-in-hand with our development and IT departments to promote efficient processes, facilitate automation, and guarantee high-standard releases, with the goal of boosting productivity, stability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and guide the complete software development lifecycle, from design through to release and maintenance.
Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for automating testing and deployment workflows.
Keep track of system performance, diagnose issues, and devise solutions to optimize applications.
Ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and runs efficiently in collaboration with system administrators.
Collaborate with development teams to pinpoint areas for improvement in development practices.
Administer version control systems, CI tools, and deployment automation frameworks.
Encourage teamwork and communication between development, operations, and quality assurance teams.

Essential Requirements

Extensive experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell, Ansible).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
High proficiency in version control mechanisms such as Git.
Knowledgeable in monitoring tools and software management methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and adeptness at resolving complex technical challenges.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
5-7 years in a DevOps, software engineering, or systems engineering role.
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and best practices.
Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate across various teams.
