About the Role

As an IT Security Analyst, you will be involved in the day-to-day administration, enhancement, and implementation of security controls. You will respond to security incidents, contribute to audits, and help strengthen cyber defences across the organisation. • Investigate security alerts and respond to incidents in real time.
  • Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
  • Contribute to security awareness training and user education programmes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to improve security processes and automation.
  • Assist in policy development, documentation, and best practice implementation.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong aptitude for problem-solving, quick thinking, and applying common sense to security challenges.
  • A keen interest in cybersecurity, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Familiarity with IT security concepts such as threat hunting, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Basic understanding of security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or ACSC Essential Eight (preferred but not essential).
  • Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a bonus but not required.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a willingness to take on new challenges.

Why Join Us?

  • A unique hands-on opportunity to gain valuable cybersecurity experience.
  • A supportive and dynamic team where you can develop your skills.
  • Exposure to real-world security challenges in a fast-moving environment.
  • The potential for future career growth within cybersecurity and IT security.
