Your new role
Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining the IP & MPLS network. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing network design for BAU operations.
- Rolling out and deploying network solutions to the IP & MPLS Network.
- Developing technical design documentation, including HLD, LLD, and network drawings.
- Provide tier-3 support to the operational team.
- Occasionally handling hardware procurement for the business.
- Continuously seeking ways to improve our processes and exceed customer expectations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Industry certification equivalent to CCNP.
- A minimum of 3+ years' experience in an operational role.
- Proven experience working in an ISP environment.
- Experience managing the delivery of network projects.
- Essential skills in OSPF, BGP, ISIS, BFD, LDP, L2TP, BRAS, Radius, and PPPoE.
- Extensive experience with Cisco.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for network-related issues.
- An understanding of product development challenges.
- Strong documentation and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
