Software Development Manager opportunity – manage a team of .Net Developers, building mission critical software at the core of this business. 6 Month Daily Rate Contract – highly likely to roll as a long term position. Based in Dublin City Centre.

This company is growing fast, and kicking off a major IT transformation to support the business scaling. This includes a MS Azure migration, green field application development, and breaking up older applications into microservices.

This position will ideally suit a Software Development Manager who wants to make an impact: you will be empowered to drive change in software engineering processes and technology, with the goal of increasing the velocity of software development in the company.

You will manage a team of .Net Software Engineers, make key technical contributions (architecture, mentoring, technical leadership, setting standards and best practices), and play an important stakeholder engagement role.

It is based in Dublin City Centre, and is a fully on site role. This role will ideally suit a Software Engineering Manager with a strong technical background (ideally in .Net), and a track record of implementing process and technology changes in engineering teams.

Skills / experience:

• Solid experience as a Software Development Manager (5 – 10+ years)

• Strong technical & people leadership skills

• Software engineering background, ideally including .Net

Rate:

€700 - €800 DOE

6 Month Contract to Start, likely to extend long term
