ECS Senior Product Analyst

The Role

Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) is seeking a Product Analyst to join our Product Analyst Chapter. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for systems/business analysis, requirements gathering, providing value to our customers, and agile product delivery. The Product Analyst will join forces with the squad lead, engineers, and architects to ensure our business objectives become reality in our Application Security product space.

The Team

Enterprise Cybersecurity is responsible for protecting Fidelity from external and internal threats against our infrastructure, data and systems. As a member of the Product Analyst Chapter, you will join a team that is the center of excellence for product analysis and contribute to driving outstanding solutions. In this role you will work in partnership with product analysts, squad leads, engineers and architects in the Application and Infrastructure Security product area. The mission of the product area is to Secure the Firm by identifying, assessing and mitigating vulnerability, malware and configuration exposures in Fidelity’s applications and infrastructure.

The Expertise And Skills You Bring

  • The ideal candidate should possess 5+ years of experience as a systems analyst or business analyst delivering software using agile development practices. Additional experience in the cybersecurity or financial services industry would be beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience in either Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems or related field
  • Experience working with [specific software, application, tool, product area focus]
  • Experience with Jira and Jira Align, or other comparable Agile tools is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand business needs and challenges and contribute to product strategy and prioritize customer success
  • Experience in gathering requirements and translating them to well-defined, consumable epics and stories with clear business value and acceptance criteria with a focus on user needs
  • Strong ability to conduct research and analysis independently, including applying data-driven insights, constructing complex diagrams and visualizations, and documenting current and future state of complex projects
  • Functions as a domain expert of team’s product(s) and processes
  • Adept at understanding competing priorities and aligns team and immediate partners to drive successful product delivery
  • Fosters and leads team to collaborate with partners and stakeholders to drive strong business objectives
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills including leading sessions with technical and non-technical members such as stakeholders, business partners, team members, and subject matter experts
  • Proficient understanding of agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles
  • Creates and maintains documentation including finding opportunities for improvement and collaborating with team members, subject matter experts, and team leader to guarantee accuracy and completeness
  • Demonstrates a continuous improvement mentality and shares expertise with junior analysts


Related Certifications

  • Certifications such as CSPO, CSM, IIBA (CCBA, CBAP, POA), and Cyber or Technical certificates is a plus.
