Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Role name: AI engineer

Role description and duties:

• Work in team to develop AI solutions
• Investigate and implement training, fine-tuning and inference pipelines to serve large language models
• Develop machine learning algorithms, as well as traditional statistical models, in order to gather actionable business insights
• Keep up to date with state of the art technologies and algorithms to use the best world in class solution to problems
• Explain and synthesise sophisticated data patterns and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
•  In collaboration with the engineering team, implement prototypes, API and data pipelines

Skills:

• Proficiency with Python programming language
• Experience in writing production ready code
• Knowledge of Deep Learning and Generative AI architectures
• Experience with software development version control tools (eg Git), versioning, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with data manipulation and data visualisation tools

Nice to have:

• Experience with MLOps techniques and technologies
• Knowledge of backend development
• Knowledge of cloud engineering and infrastructure technologies
• Knowledge of other programming languages (javascript, rust, go)

Work location: 

The role is based in Varese, with smart working options to ensure flexibility, allowing you to work both remotely and on-site depending on your preference and project needs.
