About the role:
Project Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for improving an integrated project-specific quality management system aligned with RB Rail AS Quality management system, EU, local legal acts and standards, such as relevant railway construction regulations. As well as ensuring control and oversight of the developed quality assurance processes and practices along the whole lifecycle of the Rail Baltica Global Project on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an integrated project-specific quality management system aligned with the RB Rail General Quality Management System;
- Ensure control and oversight of the quality assurance processes and their execution within RB Rail and in terms of externally provided processes, products and service;
- Develop Quality audit program and Quality Annual audit plans;
- Conduct regular Quality audits and inspections;
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to validate adherence to quality control processes and/or requirements and identify areas for improvement;
- Coordinate non-conformity management process, including non-conformity analysis, development of the corrective/and preventive actions (CAPA);
- Contribute to the overall CSM-RA (Common Safety Method for Risk Assessment) compliance demonstration by creating the necessary Quality Assurance reports at specific milestones along the project lifecycle and as part of the final Rail Baltica Global Project Safety Case.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in in quality assurance roles, preferably in the construction or railway sectors;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (to communicate with team and partners abroad);
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Systems) or equivalent degree and experience;
- Foundational knowledge of engineering process and system assurance principles;
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 requirements and Quality Management System (QMS) in project.
