System Engineer

Arvato Systems is the manufacturer of the enterprise workload automation solution Streamworks. In addition to selling the solution, Arvato Systems uses Streamworks to a large extent for automation in its own data centers.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop automations with our workload automation solution Streamworks
• Advise customers on the conception and design of process automations
• Support your customers in their day-to-day business and take on tasks in incident, change and problem management
• Support the onboarding of new customers as part of migration projects
• Conduct customer workshops and presentations in the field of process automation and training internal departments
• Further development of automation in our own data center operations
• Getting involved in Streamworks product development and providing support in the area of quality assurance / testing
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in IT or relevant experience as an IT Specialist in system integration or application development or a comparable qualification
• Experience with scripting languages: Windows CMD, Powershell, Shellscript, Perl, T-SQL or other
• Confident in the Windows and Unix/Linux operating system environment
• Willing to take over on-call duties in fair rotation with your team members
• Fluency in English and German is considered as a plus. Fluency in English and German is considered as a plus. Foreign language is required for communication across our international locations and customers from Germany.
• Ideally, you already have experience with other workload automation solutions, e.g. Broadcom Automic (formerly UC4), BMC Control-M
• Experience in the operational organization of data centers is desirable
