Job Description

Ignitis Renewables is a renewables arm of Ignitis Group – the largest listed company and a leading integrated utility in the Baltics. Ignitis Renewables operates in the three Baltic states and Poland and is responsible for developing, building, and operating and onshore and offshore wind, solar, BESS and P2X projects. The projects developed by Ignitis Renewables are vital for the objective set in the strategy of Ignitis Group – to reach 4-5 GW of installed green capacities by 2030. We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our next phase of growth.

It is a contract for a five-year term of office.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem by:

• Leading and executing the company's business strategy to achieve 4-5 GW of installed green capacities by 2030, focusing on the Baltic states and Poland.
• Overseeing the development, construction and operations of onshore and offshore wind, solar, BESS, and P2X projects.
• Managing and advancing the development on 8 GW green energy capacity portfolio in collaboration with 300+ Ignitis Renewables professionals.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, including partners, contractors, regulators, communities, off-takers, and other market participants.
• Optimizing the company’s structure, processes and systems to enhance productivity and execution efficiency.
• Representing and promoting the company at public and industry events to advocate for sustainable energy solutions.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of C-level role experience in renewable energy business (ideally onshore wind and/or offshore wind) in an international setting.
• Experience in scaling companies, driving growth, and managing P&L in the renewable energy sector.
• Experience in managing renewable energy projects across various stages of the project lifecycle (development, construction, operations).
• Preferably strong engineering or technical background with a deep understanding of renewable energy technologies.
• Proficiency in handling complex corporate structures and managing diverse stakeholders within a group of companies.
• Impeccable reputation and strong international network in the energy sector.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire remote teams in a fast-paced and evolving energy market.

Salary range for this position group: is 14145 to 21218 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
