Viking EMEA is actively expanding and to enhance our position on the market we are looking for the right person to join the team as the HR Assistant.


In this position, you will support the HR team with the tasks in HR Administration and recruitment processes. The ideal candidate is a multi-tasker with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced international environment. It is an ideal start of your journey in the HR sphere where we will help you learn and develop further in this role.


The duties include but are not limited to:


Recruitment:


  • Assist with job postings on various platforms
  • Screen applications based on job requirements
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers
  • Update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Communicate with candidates to provide updates on their application status


HR Administration:


  • Assist with maintaining and updating employee records
  • Support the preparation of regular payroll reports
  • Ensure employee timesheets are accurate and complete
  • Assist in daily HR administrative tasks


Location and package:


The position is an office-based role in Luxembourg and does not require travelling. The role reports to the HRD.

The role can be part-time (75-80%).

The role is an entry level position, we are open to have candidates with the right qualities rather than experience, therefore the remuneration also reflects the starting level.


Qualifications and experience:


Previous experience in an administrative role; experience in recruitment or payroll is advantageous but not required

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of French is desired, additional European languages are an advantage
