Project Manager – EU Financial Instruments & Social Inclusive Finance

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong knowledge of EU financial instruments, access to finance for entrepreneurs and SMEs, and social inclusive finance? We have an exciting opportunity for an expert to support the implementation of a new platform for microfinance and social enterprise finance. Based in Luxembourg, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, international environment and collaborate with key EU stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of the platform under the new initiative, including drafting operational documents and monitoring legal agreements.
• Participate in coordination meetings and prepare key implementation reports.
• Assist with the fi-compass advisory platform by managing information flow and preparing documents such as reports, presentations, and guidelines.
• Contribute to capacity-building activities for leading EU authorities
• Support the drafting and review of studies and reports related to financial instruments, micro-entrepreneurship, and social finance.
• Engage with stakeholders, including EU officials and Managing Authorities, to ensure smooth delivery of technical assistance.
• Provide general project management support for new advisory platforms and assignments within the division.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset).
• Experience in project management, as well as expertise in microfinance or inclusive finance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience interacting with EU institutions.
• Proficiency in English (C2) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results.
