Our way of working
We operate with a scaled approach to agile development called LeSS; we work with one backlog of prioritized high-level epics for all self-managing teams. The teams are in close contact with stakeholders, take time to learn and are empowered to arrange their work content in collaboration with the product owner to ensure we can focus on delivering the most value to the product. Scrum Masters support the adoption and work with teams to develop practices to sustain an impactful and enjoyable way of working.
By adopting a progressive way of working we aim to further our position as a trusted partner for Wärtsilä business and offer a fulfilling workplace for our people. We want to deepen our understanding of our business and take an active approach to personal growth, providing opportunities for people to further develop skills and knowledge with support from our People Managers.
At Wärtsilä we take a hybrid approach to location, we aim to be together at least two days a week at our Drunen office for collaborative work, enjoying each other’s company and re-enforcing our sense of purpose.
