We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team!

The Cloud Engineer will be a critical asset to our international IT team, tasked with ensuring the effective operation, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. This role demands a professional who is proficient in maintaining and advancing cloud-based systems, orchestrating automated workflows, and providing expert technical support and strategic guidance.

Education

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification.

• Cloud Certifications in AWS and/or GCP are highly desirable.

• Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Experience

- Extensive experience in operating and managing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent.

- Demonstrated experience with automation and orchestration of cloud services, including tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.

- Solid background in virtualization and containerization technologies.

- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and processes.

- Understanding of network technologies and protocols.

- Significant experience in implementing and managing security and compliance measures in cloud environments.

Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud security frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards).

- Experience with security audit procedures, vulnerability assessments, and implementing security best practices in cloud environments.

- Proficiency in identity and access management, data protection, and encryption standards.

Language / Level

- Fluent spoken and written English.

- German language skills are desirable.
