DevOps Engineer - VMware Tanzu

Introduction: Antaes is seeking a DevOps Engineer with specialized skills in VMware Tanzu to support our Financial and Fintech clients. In this role, you will drive the transformation and modernization of applications and infrastructure, deploying scalable and secure cloud-native solutions in a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, manage, and optimize VMware Tanzu infrastructure to support both development and production environments across our financial sector clients.
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines specifically tailored for financial services applications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes to enhance system performance, security, and downtime management.
• Work closely with client teams to integrate Tanzu solutions with existing financial systems and workflows.
• Provide ongoing support and expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient operations.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and facilitate the continuous improvement of infrastructure projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in DevOps, including direct experience with VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes in a financial or fintech environment.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD systems, automation tools, and scripting (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with financial sector compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing complex systems in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in client-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications relevant to VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, or financial compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS).
• Experience in integrating cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) with VMware Tanzu.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and security practices specific to the financial industry.
