The Role:

The Assistant Project Manager will be part of our clients Delivery team, supporting project planning and coordination efforts. You’ll assist with acquiring Point of Connection applications and help manage various project milestones, permits, notices, and orders. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring resources and personnel are aligned with project milestones.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure they have the necessary materials, information, and support to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Supervise the procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources required for each project.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct quality checks, and ensure installations meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Take ownership of selected product development projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery from start to finish.

What are we looking for?

  • Prior experience in managing grid connections is preferred, especially in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge in project development, design, and operational engineering activities is essential.
  • A qualification in electrical engineering or a similar field, or relevant experience in the electricity sector, is required.
  • Strong understanding of the entire grid connection process from start to finish.
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • A proven experience (4+ years) in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.

What is on offer?

  • A competitive salary of between £45,000-£55,000 DOE
  • Company pension
  • Bonus (TBC)
  • Central London office
  • Great progression opportunities
