Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

The team is made up of enthusiastic professionals that work in an international environment adapting to different context and learning new technologies and parts of Deutsche Banks’ businesses.

Corporate Banking is a technology centric business, with an increasing move to real-time processing, an increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems and access to supporting data. This means that technology is more important than ever for the business.

Junior Engineer – Java backend developer

We are looking for a junior engineer the Surveillance Area to help us enhance our platform, dbSIS (Surveillance Insulation Services). This is a product with High Availability, High Throughput and Low Latency Product where the subtle technical nuances are of great importance.

Responsibilities:

• Build, test and build applications.
• Learn different technologies.
• Get involved in the entire lifecycle of software development.
• Support the team and the applications in production.
• Support design solutions, code, configure application, build automated tests, deploy applications in different environments.
  
  
  

Skills

• Basic experience with Java.
• Basic knowledge of writing tests.
• Basic knowledge of databases .
• Basic knowledge about the technologies we work with: Kafka, MQ, REST
• OpenShift, GCP, BDD, OpenAPI, Oracle, Gradle, Jenkins, JSON, XML.
