Product Lead, Retail Discovery & Browsing

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Lead to join the Consumer Group, Retail Discovery Team. The Retail Discovery team supports Wolt’s vision of evolving from a restaurant-focused app to a 'Mall in your Pocket,' where customers can explore a wide variety of offerings, including groceries, beauty products, pet supplies, electronics, medicine, fashion, and many more. The team’s mission is to enable effortless in-app exploration and browsing of retail and grocery products while inspiring customers to discover new and exciting options.

As a Product Lead, you will work with a cross-functional team of incredibly talented engineers, designers, product people, and analysts in a high-visibility role. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap and setting the vision for your team. This involves leading multiple projects and cross-team product initiatives across the entire product lifecycle, partnering with business and operations stakeholders as well as understanding our end-users better than anyone.

Our humble expectations

• Proven experience as a Product Lead / Product Manager, preferably in the Discovery space - you know what it takes to develop great customer-facing products.
• Experience in building world-class user experiences with a deep understanding of creating intuitive, seamless, and engaging user journeys. For example, utilizing smart filtering and categorization to help users navigate large product inventories with ease and applying personalized recommendations to present users with relevant product options based on their preferences and behavior
• Strong ability to communicate progress, challenges, and successes effectively to C-level leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and fostering trust in the product vision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
• A mixture of data analysis skills, engineering understanding, business savvy and interest in working closely together with designers, with the go-getter attitude of a "could-be start-up CEO"
• Expertise in how to work with and coach cross-functional teams, at least with developers, finance, data experts and with engineering teams
