Role Summary

Are you passionate about IT security and eager to make a real impact? We are looking for a skilled professional with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and security principles to join our SOC team. You should have hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, fundamental networking concepts, and operating systems. Your primary focus will be monitoring and assessing security alerts, responding to incidents, and ensuring Scania’s IT security. Additionally, you will contribute to data analytics and automation to enhance our security processes.

Job Responsibilities


  • Perform daily surveillance and assessment of various security alerts to identify potential threats.
  • Respond to security incidents promptly and effectively, minimizing impact and ensuring swift resolution.
  • Contribute to data analytics and automation initiatives to maintain and improve efficiency in security operations (secondary focus).


Who You Are


  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have strong communication skills and are proficient in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural and international backgrounds.
  • You have a good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and operating systems.
  • You possess a solid grasp of IT security principles and best practices.
  • You have hands-on experience in Security Operations.
  • While not the primary focus, familiarity with automation tools and low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate) is a plus.
