Job Title: Full-Stack Engineer

Location: Oslo, Norway

About Us: My client is a forward-thinking company dedicated to enhancing the reliability and sustainability of public transport and rail freight. Their data insight platform empowers operators of trains, trams, and light-rail systems with AI-enabled decision support, presented through a unique application interface.

Role Overview: In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of their end-to-end architecture, focusing on both frontend and backend systems. You will have the opportunity to influence strategic and technical decisions, shaping the way they work and the solutions they deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and databases.
• Create dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly frontend interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Experience with Typescript and React for frontend development.
• Familiarity with TimescaleDB or similar time-series databases.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• A passion for improving public transportation systems is a plus.
