Role Overview:

Seeking a Backend & Machine Learning Engineer to join the Product team. In this role, you will research, develop, and improve our AI-driven platform, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technology and user experience. You will work on backend development and machine learning features, particularly in large language models (LLMs) and NLP applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using clean and maintainable code.
• Research and implement NLP and LLM-based models for chatbot optimization.
• Fine-tune, deploy, and optimize large language models (LLMs) for real-world applications.
• Engage in all stages of the feature development cycle, from ideation to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into our platform.
• Ensure scalability and performance of AI-driven solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and NLP.

Technical Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django; experience with Node.js or Elixir is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Hands-on experience with NLP techniques, including text classification, named entity recognition, and sentiment analysis.
• Familiarity with LLMs, their fine-tuning, deployment, and optimization.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Understanding of scalability and performance considerations for AI applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for chatbot enhancements.
• Knowledge of vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.
• Experience implementing Transformer-based models for real-time applications.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for AI-powered search functionality.
• DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
