The Data Center Infrastructure Services (DCIS) team sits within TikTok's global technology structure and supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale data centers, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services, making sure they are scalable and are reliable.
This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in Data Center Operations (DCO). Interns will work closely with DCO engineers and team leads to support the maintenance, security, and day-to-day operations of our data center facilities. Interns will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving server issues, escalating issues and working collaboratively with remote teams. Additionally, you might get an opportunity to work within the server rack lifecycle process and focus on helping buildout computing and storage environments.

Responsibilities:
- Provide break-fix support to the IT infrastructure and ensure all safety/security policies & standards are adhered to on site by visitors.
- Work within a ticketing system process in support of server fleet.
- Perform power cycles, troubleshooting, and replace failed components such as cables/hard drives/motherboards and network devices.
- Physically assist in moving and installing equipment.
- Establish strong working relationships with various internal teams and external partners.
- Hardware troubleshooting under DC Ops Engineer supervision, understand the importance to meet SLA’s against assigned trouble tickets, interact with third party vendors & contractors who are working on site
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be available full time in June 2025 for 3 months and attendance on site 5 days a week.
- Basic knowledge of hands-on experience with computer hardware /repair and operating systems.
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment, displaying excellent time management skills, willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to safely lift & move a minimum of 20kg
- Experience in IT Support or technical roles is an advantage.
