We are seeking a highly skilled Antenna Design Expert to lead the development of cutting-edge antenna solutions for wireless and radar applications in automotive, industrial, and consumer markets. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in RF and electromagnetic (EM) theory, antenna simulation, and prototyping, with a proven track record in designing high-performance antennas for BLE, UWB, radar or mmWave applications.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Antenna Design & Development: Design and optimize antennas for BLE, UWB, mmWave, and radar applications, ensuring high performance in complex environments
  • Simulation & Modeling: Use EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST, FEKO, ADS, etc.) to model and optimize antenna structures and RF front-ends
  • Prototyping & Testing: Develop prototypes, validate designs through lab measurements, and conduct performance evaluations in real-world conditions
  • System Integration: Collaborate with RF, hardware, and mechanical engineers to integrate antennas into compact and challenging product form factors
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct near-field and far-field measurements, anechoic chamber testing, and RF characterization to refine antenna designs
  • Multi-Antenna Systems: Design MIMO, beamforming, and phased-array antennas for advanced wireless and radar applications
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet global regulatory and industry standards (FCC, ETSI, 3GPP, IEEE 802.15.4, ISO 26262, etc.)

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in antenna design, RF systems, or radar technologies

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, RF propagation, and antenna arrays
  • Proficiency in EM simulation tools (CST, HFSS, ADS, or similar)
  • Experience with vector network analyzers (VNAs), spectrum analyzers, and chamber testing
  • Knowledge of impedance matching, RF PCB design, and wave propagation modeling

Industry Knowledge

  • Experience in automotive, IoT, defense, or telecom industries
  • Familiarity with radar cross-section (RCS) reduction, adaptive beamforming, and diversity techniques
  • Understanding of wireless standards (BLE, UWB, Wi-Fi, 5G, mmWave, automotive radar, etc.)

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to design and testing
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment
