Blockchain Engineer ( Chain Agnostic)

My client is a high-frequency trading market maker firm specializing in cryptocurrency markets.

About the Role:

In this critical role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining cutting-edge trading infrastructure across various blockchain networks. As a chain-agnostic engineer, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing solutions that seamlessly integrate with a diverse range of blockchain ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Blockchain Integrations: Research, develop, and maintain integrations with decentralized exchanges (DEXes).
• Develop and maintain scripts for automated tasks and integrations.
• Manage and maintain blockchain nodes across various networks.
• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading systems and infrastructure.
• Blockchain Integration: Integrate with various blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Sui, Ton, Cosmos, etc.
• API Development: Develop and maintain REST and WebSocket APIs for efficient communication between our platform and external systems.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize system performance to ensure low-latency and high-throughput trading.
• Test Automation: Design and implement robust testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Security: Implement industry-best security practices to protect our platform and user data.
• Data Analysis: Develop tools and techniques to analyze market data and identify trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to develop and deploy innovative trading solutions.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of our trading systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and performance analysis of blockchain-based systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency market.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and cryptography.
• Experience with blockchain development frameworks and tools (e.g., Solidity, Web3.js, Rust).
• Experience with high-performance computing and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with multiple blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Solana, Sui, Ton, Cosmos, etc.).
• Familiarity with high-frequency trading systems and market microstructure.
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
