Business Intelligence Specialist

Day to day:

One of our large Medical Device clients is seeking a Power Bi Data Visualization Specialist to help out with a project for approximately 9 months. This individual will team up with another engineer who will provide the data tags and user interface examples from their manufacturing equipment. This person will be responsible for optimizing and propagating for various manufacturing lines, SKUs and brands of their product. They will review these data tags for findings such as: the production downtime, product rejects, and any issues that occur during production. The goal is to figure out what process improvements need to be made for each line. They will report these findings back to the operations managers and engineers working each line. The pay rate for this role is $30-$40/hour.

Must haves:

• 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/production environment (med device, food/beverage, pharmaceutics)
• 6 months of experience working with Power BI
• Experience reading data sets/charts to problem solve
• Great problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field

Plusses:

• Experience working in Minitab
• Six Sigma certifications
