Java Data Engineer

Do you have 3+ years of experience in developing automated data pipelines using Java and ETL tools? We are looking for an EU national to join our team in Brussels on-site.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in developing automated data pipeline using Java and ETL tools as Talend
• Detailed knowledge of Java design patterns (Factory, Builder, Composite, etc.).
• Proficiency in Data cleansing and aggregations with millions of records.
• Proficiency in querying databases such as SQL and Elasticsearch.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Docker and K8 is a plus.
• Knowledge of Graph theory applied to data, and tools like Neo4J, Tiger Graph, or similar.
• Knowledge of Data matching is a plus.
• Motivated and proactive with the initiative to make independent decisions.
• Bring innovative approach to tackling complex issues.
• Language(s): English (fluent)

• Design and implement data engineering pipelines to ingest, enrich, match and compute indicators.
• Analyze and make recommendations based on business requirements.
• Improve quality, reliability, and performance of data engineering pipelines.
• Write unit tests and cooperate strongly with QA team to ensure high quality standards.
• Communicate and share progress with technical stakeholders and product owner
