Job Description

Responsibility

  • You are responsible for managing the central servers, the internal company network and the external connections with the aim of contributing to the proper functioning, availability, security and support of the server and network infrastructure.
  • Maintaining and monitoring the data centers and the company network with the aim of guaranteeing the availability and performance of servers and network equipment.
  • Installing and configuring servers, network equipment, operating systems, system software and cloud platforms with the aim of meeting the needs of the company.
  • Securing the central servers, the internal company network and the external connections with the aim of nipping threats in the bud.
  • Analyzing and solving server, network and platform-related problems with the aim of restoring and improving the operation of the central servers and the network.
  • Configure and monitor backups and replication mechanisms for user files, databases and system settings with the aim of quickly restoring this data in the event of loss or damage.
  • Formulating proposals for optimization of the ICT infrastructure. Not only to meet the current needs, but also the future needs.
  • Keeping the documentation on servers and network equipment up-to-date with the aim of maintaining a complete and correct picture of all components within this infrastructure.

Job Requirements

  • Advanced, up-to-date knowledge of operating systems, system software, data communication and network security.
  • Advanced, up-to-date knowledge of management and monitoring tools for servers, network equipment and firewalls.
  • Experience in one or more of the following domains is a plus: .
