We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects throughout the entire European Defence Fund (EDF) lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing international consortia, writing and submitting EDF proposals, and ensuring seamless project execution in compliance with EDF regulations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead and coordinate project from proposal to execution and delivery, ensuring compliance with EDF regulations and objectives
  • Proposal preparation for EU Calls (EDF or other) funding program: Lead the drafting and the delivery of high-quality Call proposal, ensuring alignment with strategic funding priorities
  • Identify, engage, and involve collaboration partners (consortsium members) with the right strategic fit for proposal preparation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between project partners, the European Commission, and other key stakeholders. Organizes the activities of consortium members according to the timeline and action plan
  • Ensure all project activities adhere to EDF funding rules, security regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Budget formation, monitor project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure financial accountability
  • Coordinate technical and administrative work p, ensuring deliverables to European Commission are met on time and within scope
  • Track project performance, prepare progress reports, and assess project outcomes to maximize impact

What We Are Looking For

  • Extensive experience in project management, particularly in EU-funded projects (EDF, H2020, Horizon Europe, etc.)
  • Proven track record of leading EDF or similar high-stakes projects from proposal to completion
  • Deep understanding of EU (EDF) regulations, funding mechanisms, and reporting obligations
  • Strong background in forming and managing international consortia, ideally in the defense or security sector
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and partnership management
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel within Europe when required
  • Knowledge of defense technologies, military systems, and operational requirements is a plus
