Responsibilities

Job Description

  • SDK development: Design and build advanced SDK for the in-house Android application. The primary focus will be the development of a runtime tracking SDK that operates without requiring additional app team manipulation.
  • Architecture and code quality: Lead the development efforts by providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality code through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
  • Performance optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues to ensure smooth and responsive applications.
  • Unit testing: Demonstrate a strong focus on testing by writing comprehensive unit tests and conducting UI testing using frameworks like JUnit and Espresso to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.
  • Emerging technologies: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Android development and other relevant technologies to continuously improve our applications.
  • Problem-solving: Analyze and solve complex technical challenges related to mobile application development and provide creative solutions.
  • Code quality and documentation: Write clean, modular, and testable code, and maintain clear and concise documentation to facilitate collaboration within the team.
  • Troubleshooting and bug fixing: Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, providing timely bug fixes and updates to maintain app stability.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality applications on time.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Android app development with a proven track record of delivering successful applications.
  • Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java for Android development, including Android internals and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems like Git. Experience with Android UI development using Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.
  • Experience with ASM or other bytecode modification tools.
  • Knowledge of Android architectural patterns (Clean, MVVM, MVP, etc.) and experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger, Hilt).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration into mobile applications.
  • Experience managing the software development lifecycles.
  • English intermediate (B1).
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another field.

  • Familiarity with the latest Android features, libraries, and development tools. Strong passion for mobile technology and a desire to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective team collaboration.
