Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled and resourceful freelance Web Developer with eCommerce expertise to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development and a proven track record in building responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing eCommerce websites. You will collaborate closely with our in-house team to create websites that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations in terms of functionality, design, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, focusing on user experience and responsiveness.
• Work closely with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional, visually appealing sites.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement, customize, and troubleshoot various eCommerce platforms, including WooCommerce, ensuring seamless integration with WordPress.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure stability and reliability of each project.
• Stay updated on the latest WordPress and eCommerce trends, best practices, and tools.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and manage project budgets.
• Provide creative and resourceful solutions to technical challenges that arise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of 3+ years as a web developer with a portfolio showcasing both WordPress and eCommerce projects (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness, with a track record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and time management skills, capable of managing freelance projects independently.
