This role will help the company develop standards and solutions to protect the organization's and customer's digital infrastructure in the CNI sector. Responsibilities include identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks, implementing robust security measures, and responding to cyber threats. The role also involves continuous monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and system activity to identify suspicious or unauthorised
- behaviour.
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, minimising damage and
- recovery time.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security
- audits.
- Identify potential threats and recommend proactive security measures.
- Design, deploy, and manage security tools such as firewalls, anti virus software,
- and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Configure and maintain secure network architecture, including VPNs, endpoints,
- and cloud environments.
- Develop, review, and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO
- 27001, NIS 2).
- Provide cybersecurity training for employees to enhance awareness and reduce
- risks from human errors.
- Create materials and run workshops on safe online practices and data protection.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
- Evaluate and implement robust security technologies to improve defences.
- Collaborate with Customers / Suppliers to investigate security incidents.
- Provide contextual threat intelligence to aid in remediation and recovery efforts.
