TMC Luxembourg is looking for a BCP specialist for one of its clients.

About This Vacancy

Main Responsibilities:

  • BC&DR Strategy Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans to align with best practices and business needs.
  • Risk Analysis & Mitigation: Assess IT infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate potential threats, and implement risk reduction measures.
  • Testing & Simulation: Plan and execute regular drills to validate the effectiveness of recovery strategies and ensure preparedness.
  • Incident Management: Lead response efforts during IT disruptions, coordinating with stakeholders to minimize operational impact.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of BC&DR procedures, incident reports, and performance evaluations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, business leaders, and external partners to ensure an integrated approach to business continuity.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, corporate policies, and security standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with evolving threats, technological advancements, and best practices to enhance resilience strategies.

What We Expect From You

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Risk Management: Experience in risk assessment methodologies and impact analysis.
  • Incident Response & Crisis Management: Ability to handle high-pressure situations, coordinate response teams, and ensure quick recovery.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing complex projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 22301, NIST, ITIL, and GDPR compliance.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, explain complex issues, and drive alignment.
  • Analytical Thinking: Capability to assess risks, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions.
  • Adaptability & Proactiveness: A continuous learning mindset to stay ahead of industry changes and emerging risks.
