About This Role

Our Global Marketing Operations team is formed of a superb team of delivery, change and planning specialists. As a lead in this team, there is a huge opportunity to influence and develop our German-specific processes, alongside delivering some very exciting work.

As the Lead Project Manager supporting our German marketing team, you will develop systems to drive efficiency into our ways of working and enable the team to deliver their key campaigns. Projects will vary from delivering key initiatives, planning and improving processes between marketing and other teams such as the commercial or sales teams. This is a brand-new role, and so we are looking for someone who is up to the challenge of building out an approach that enables our market to deliver success.

As a Marketing Operations team, we support our Global Marketing function in total, so there will also be opportunity to deliver broader process improvements that influence the Global function and connect to the German marketing team.

Following our growth as Just Eat Takeaway.com, our project and programme specialists now have an even wider scope. Your aim is to build good relationships with colleagues across the organisation, improving processes to help us deliver exceptional creative work.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Develop, oversee and streamline marketing project workflows, ensuring efficiency in planning, execution, and delivery for the German team
• Delivers priority marketing campaigns end-to-end from strategy development, creative concepting to production and delivery
• Work closely with German heads of department to ensure projects align and are prioritised with company goals and German market strategies
• Provide stakeholder management across a number of functions including marketing channel specialists, local marketing experts, brand marketing, commercial areas of the business and external agencies
• Collaborate and contribute to the wider Marketing Operations team to share learnings and resource support across programme
• Track progress of projects, and identify potential risks and proactively implement solutions to keep deliverables on track
• Oversees the marketing calendar and keeps German stakeholders updated on a monthly weekly basis
• Ensure necessary reporting and retrospectives are in place to gather insights and implement continuous improvement
• Reports into the Principal UK DE Programme Lead
  
  

What will you bring to the table?

• Preferably a native German speaker
• 6-8 years’ experience in a project management role, preferably within a FTSE100 food delivery or digital/tech-based business
• Experience in change management and implementing changes
• Proven ability to manage complex marketing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of marketing workflows, including creative production, multi-channel marketing, and campaign execution
• Senior stakeholder management and ability to build strong relationships
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of project management software, e.g. JIRA, Trello
• PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification is a plus
