Java Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user-friendly and visually appealing web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Involve in complete Software Development Life cycle in development of Java applications;
• Work as a agile team for build & release and production support activities;
• Build and optimize back-end services with Java and MSSQL;
• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React;
• Perform coding, implementation, integration, documentation and user guide according to agreed standards;
• Provide technical solutions for deficiencies in process, application configuration and operational procedures;
• Enhancing business applications based on business needs and providing continuous support to the application;
• Involved in system integration and user testing;
• Provide user and system support during and post implementation;

Mandatory Skill Set:

• Degree or Diploma holder in Computer Science / Information Technology or related fields;
• At least 2 years of experience in software design and development in Java / J2EE;
• Proficient in Java / J2EE, Spring Framework, React, and MSSQL;
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JavaScript, and SQL
• Good documentation and communication skills;
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player;
• Proactive to propose innovative solutions or alternative approaches to difficult issues;
• Enthusiastic person able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong hands on experience in Java / J2EE technologies i.e. JSP, Servlets, JSF, JSTL, Spring, Hibernate;
• Proficient in Java, XML, SOAP and RESTful APIs;
• Familiar with tools like SonarQube for code quality monitoring;

Desired Skill Set

• Working experience with Microsoft reporting tools (SSRS/SSIS);
• Working experience for front end JavaScript frameworks;
• Agile and Cloud experience;
