Java Backend Developer (Kafka, MongoDB)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot/Spring Framework).
• Design and implement event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Work with MongoDB for data storage, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend and third-party integrations.
• Optimize application performance, ensure low-latency processing, and troubleshoot backend issues.
• Implement security best practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and Product teams, to drive technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (event streaming, producers/consumers, topic management).
• Proficiency in MongoDB (schema design, aggregation, indexing).
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs & Microservices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
