Network Engineer

ONSITE in the Woodlands, TX

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and support of company networks that support corporate, field, and business applications.
• Support includes Azure, AWS, Security, and Internet/office connectivity.
• Work with Field IT and application teams to determine appropriate network configurations to support business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends when needed (e.g., patching on Saturday mornings).
• In-office presence when required – No pushback on this.

Qualifications:

• Experienced in Cloud Networking.
• 3+ years working with AWS Cloud WAN, DirectConnects, Transit Gateways, Routing.
• 3+ years working with Azure ExpressRoutes, UDR, SG.
• 5+ years as a Network Systems Administrator supporting routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, and load balancers.
• 3+ years working with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Merak firewalls.
• 3+ years working with BGP/OSPF routing protocols.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management.
• Team player who can operate effectively within a matrix management environment.
