About pleso therapy

pleso therapy is a mental health startup dedicated to helping customers find their ideal therapist in an anxiety-free way. Operating in Ukraine, Poland, and Romania, we have over 35 team members across marketing, operations, and tech teams, and we are rapidly scaling.


We are looking for an HR Generalist who is proactive, people-oriented, and driven to build a strong, responsible, and motivated team.


Who We Are Looking For

An ideal candidate should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in HR within the IT industry, preferably in product IT, startups, or similar fields such as online schools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: A proacztive attitude, always looking for solutions rather than problems.
  • Experience working in international teams and collaborating with professionals from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience building an HR department from the scratch is a big plus.
  • Fluency in English is required.


Key Responsibilities

As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in shaping our company culture and ensuring a strong, motivated team. Your main responsibilities will include:

Recruitment – Identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent.

Onboarding – Ensuring a smooth integration process for new hires.

Offboarding – Managing employee transitions professionally.

Company Culture – Strengthening and maintaining a healthy work environment.

Conflict Resolution – Managing and mediating internal issues.

Employee Motivation – Creating engagement programs and initiatives.

Learning & Development – Supporting continuous learning and professional growth.

Team Engagement & Well-being – Organizing team-building activities and events.

Operations Support – Assisting with administrative HR tasks as needed.
