Backend Data Engineering (data pipelines, ETL, SQL, Python, PySpark, Databricks, Azure)
Frontend BI Development (data modeling, design, dashboard creation, BI tools)
Scrum Master (agile facilitation, team coordination, process improvement)

Whether you’re an end-to-end generalist who can independently deliver BI projects or a specialist who can double as a Scrum Master, we’d love to hear from you!

What you will do

Based on your expertise, your role will focus on at least two out of these three areas:

Backend Data Engineering

Build and maintain complex data pipelines using Databricks and Azure Services.
Develop ETL processes ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in data pipelines and infrastructure with minimal supervision.
Help on the implementation of best practices for data quality, security, and scalability in partnership with the central data platform team.

Frontend BI Development

Design, build, and maintain complex and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Create and optimize data models to support advanced analytics and reporting for large datasets.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure accurate and efficient data delivery from source systems via Databricks into Power BI.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into impactful solutions.

Scrum Master

Facilitate agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Foster team collaboration, ensuring smooth project delivery.
Support the Product Owner in managing the backlog and aligning the team’s efforts with business goals.
Help the team evolve as a scrum team.

What You Bring & Who You Are

Proven expertise in at least two of the following areas:

Backend Data Engineering: Advanced experience with Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL, Azure Services, GitHub (or similar technologies).
Frontend BI Development: Skilled in Power BI, data modeling, advanced DAX calculations and dashboard design.
Scrum Mastery: Proficient in facilitating agile teams, conducting Scrum ceremonies, and driving the teams evolution as Scrum team.

Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
A passion for data and BI solutions.
A background in (software) engineering, mathematics, business, or a related field.
Advanced German and English skills (C1 level or higher). Spanish is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders and team members.
Innovative and adaptable, always seeking opportunities to improve processes and challenge the status quo.
Reliable, independent, and capable of taking ownership of your work.
