Skills:


  • Release Planning:

Develop comprehensive release plans, defining timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation for each software release.

  • Stakeholder Coordination:

Facilitate communication and collaboration between development teams, QA, product management, operations, and other stakeholders throughout the release process.

  • Risk Management:

Identify potential risks associated with releases, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize disruptions.

  • Quality Assurance:

Ensure thorough testing of software releases to meet quality standards and identify defects before deployment.

  • Deployment Management:

Oversee the deployment of software releases to production environments, including configuration management and change control procedures.

  • Release Monitoring:

Track the performance of released software in production, identifying and resolving post-release issues.

  • Change Management:

Manage change requests and updates during the release process, ensuring proper documentation and communication.

  • Metrics and Reporting:

Monitor key release metrics, analyze trends, and provide reports to stakeholders on release performance.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and deployment technologies

  • Project Management Skills:

Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute release plans effectively

  • Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly convey complex information to diverse stakeholders

  • Problem-solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently during the release process

  • Leadership Skills:

Ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams
