What To Expect

  • What You'll Do

  • Develop and Maintain Dashboards & Reports
  • Create intuitive, dynamic, and reliable dashboards to track key performance metrics for Tesla’s Energy products in APAC. Ensure data is accurate, timely, and visually compelling using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Analyse Complex Datasets & Derive Insights
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into operational, sales, and customer data to identify trends, uncover areas of opportunity, and inform critical business decisions.
  • SQL & Data Pipeline Management
  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform large datasets from multiple sources. Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure data quality.
  • Utilize advanced Excel capabilities for data exploration and modeling.
  • Leverage foundational Python skills to automate repetitive tasks, enhance data processing, and further develop your expertise.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across finance, sales, supply chain, and operations to define analytical requirements and translate business needs into data-driven solutions. Communicate findings clearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders and leadership levels.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and standardize analytical frameworks, reporting, and data processes. Offer recommendations to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis & Reporting
  • Respond swiftly to emerging business needs with well-structured, data-driven insights. Provide additional analysis and reporting as required by senior leadership and other teams.


  • What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data-driven role, ideally in technology, energy, or automotive sectors.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, VBA, and automation.
  • Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Foundational Python experience with a willingness to learn more; scripting and data science skills are a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for Tesla’s mission and a collaborative spirit to work with diverse teams across APAC.
