Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

Our IT division is going through an exciting period of transformation. As part of this journey, we are looking to appoint a Senior Data Analyst. This newly created position will play a key role in bringing us closer to our customers, allowing us to make more informed decisions and responding to business challenges in a proactive ‘best practice’ manner.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Implement and maintain leading edge analytics systems
• Identify trends and find opportunities for growth through the analysis of complex datasets
• Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings
• Create best practice reports through data mining, analysis, and visualization
• Assess internal systems and maintain protocols for handling processing and cleaning data
• Drive meaningful ‘data inspired’ discussions with hiring managers and key decision makers

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or Statistics
• 3-5 years' experience as a Data Analyst/Senior Data Analyst
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks
• Knowledge of industry standards and government regulations
• Experience with database and model design segmentation techniques
• Practical experience in statistical analysis using MS Excel, SPSS, and SAS, Google Analytics
