Associate Operation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Operation Specialist to join our team at EPAM Systems. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for guiding new hires through a seamless onboarding process, ensuring their smooth and successful integration into our organization. Your efforts will help establish a solid foundation for new employees, contributing to their long-term success and satisfaction with the company.

Responsibilities

Provide necessary information and resources to new hires to ensure a successful transition
Act as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing their inquiries and managing the onboarding process
Facilitate the completion of all required new hire paperwork, including employment contracts and other documentation
Manage the pre-hiring background checks process in collaboration with external vendors
Monitor the integration of new employees, identify challenges, and offer necessary support
Collaborate with local HR and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
Plan and coordinate logistics for new employee onboarding, including scheduling and preparation of materials
Coordinate onboarding activities and offer guidance and support to new hires throughout the process
Ensure all background checks and paperwork are completed, maintaining compliance with legal and administrative requirements
Assist new hires with paperwork completion and IT setup

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in onboarding with a proven track record of successful processes
In-depth knowledge of onboarding best practices, HR policies, and employment laws applicable in India
Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage and streamline the onboarding process
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with new employees
Keen attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously
Adaptability and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of new employees
Proficiency in HRIS systems and experience with various applicant tracking systems
Skilled in MS Office Suite
Familiarity with Indian labour laws and regulations pertinent to onboarding and employee documentation
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills (B2+ level or higher)

Nice to have

Experience in conducting training sessions for new hires
Knowledge of additional HR processes beyond onboarding, such as performance management or employee engagement strategies
