Job Overview:

Aquafin is seeking a Business Information (BI) Analyst to strengthen the team responsible for data modeling and Power BI report creation. In this role, you will act as the bridge between the business and BI worlds, understanding business needs and translating them into BI solutions. You will be working primarily with Power BI, creating datasets, complex reports, and dashboards. Additionally, you will assist in migrating reporting requirements from the existing SAP BI environment to Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling & Power BI Reports:

Strengthen the BI team by designing and building dimensional data models for effective data visualization.

Support Data and Reporting Analysts (DRA) in the development and maintenance of dashboards, ensuring high-performance results.

Functional Analysis:

Perform functional analysis of source data for Data Engineers to identify business needs and prepare for BI solutions.

Provide clear briefings for Data Engineers to guide the BI development process.

Reporting & Dashboard Creation:

Develop complex reports and dashboards for the business using Power BI.

Ensure the BI layer provides the correct insights to the business for strategic decision-making.

SAP BI Universe Maintenance:

Maintain the existing SAP BI universes and assist the Data and Reporting Analysts in utilizing them for visualization and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience:

Power BI Expertise:

Strong experience with Power BI, including modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and visualization techniques.

SAP BI Experience:

Experience with SAP BI (specifically universe designer).

Data Modeling & Warehousing:

Proficient in data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting concepts.

Experience building dimensional data models to support business intelligence needs.

SQL Proficiency:

Solid understanding of SQL to work with databases and data sources.

Business Acumen:

Ability to quickly absorb business knowledge and translate it into actionable BI insights.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Maximo Knowledge: Familiarity with Maximo (asset management system).

Asset Management Reporting: Experience in Asset Management reporting would be a plus.
