This exciting AI start-up in the retail industry in Paris is growing and looking to add exceptional talent to their data teams in Paris. They are looking to hire an experienced Data Scientist ! This is not a research focused role, you'll be working on applied data science, advanced stats, algo optimisation, A-B testing, MLOps....

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will join a small and collaborative data team of 10 and work across a nice variety of technical responsibilities:

• Works alongside the head of data and chief data officer, with a team of data scientists
• Analyse and uncover patterns and trends that you can turn into actionable insight and recommendations
• You'll be working on a variety of projects from POCs to industrialising ML & AI algorithms in production
• You'll always be thinking about how to best optimise (algorithms, processes, production...)
• R&D – you’d be staying up to date with latest papers and practices in ML and data science and implement new tools or practices if needed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

The chosen candidate will have:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Maths, Physics, Stats, Data Science…)
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL and interest for ML & AI
• You speak fluent French and English
• Startup mindset (things may move quickly) and you are a true team player!
