Senior Product Designer - UX/UI (m/f/d)

TALPA is looking for a senior product designer with a demonstrated ability to carry out user research and fluent German skills.

Your mission:

• Drive the product discovery research activities on a continuous basis
• Lead explorative user research to understand the status-quo customer journeys and identify opportunities (i.e., unmet needs, pains and desires) along the customer journeys both independently and, when required, in collaboration with the UX Researcher
• Carry out UX benchmarking for product areas you are responsible for and support the product manager in benchmarking the product against competitors and analogous products
• Prepare and refine conceptual models with inputs from subject matter experts and other cross-functional team members
• Facilitate solution ideation within your cross-functional team; explore multiple solutions to target opportunities, compare and contrast those solutions together with your cross-functional team members, identify hidden assumptions of desirability, usability, feasibility and viability, test the most critical of those assumptions, and iteratively discover the best solution
• Prepare story maps for proposed solutions, by defining high-level activities, individual steps, and finer interaction details for target users, identify critical assumptions of desirability, usability, feasibility and viability along the story map, and prioritise those assumptions
• Define, plan and execute assumption tests for the most critical assumptions in a time-boxed manner
• Prepare low-fidelity prototypes based on your story maps, conduct user tests and iteratively improve the solution prototypes
• Prepare high-fidelity prototypes, perform hand-offs to engineering team members, provide any design support required during the development process, and perform a Design QA at the end of the delivery process
• Track the success of delivered solutions using behavioural and attitudinal UX metrics
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new design techniques and methodologies
  
  

Your skills and experience:

• At least 6 years of experience in end-to-end product design preferably in the B2B space
• Ability to carry out user research in an independent manner
• Deep expertise in design tools, processes and methodologies
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Fluent in German and English is a must
• Strong analytical mindset and the ability to slide-and-dice product analytics data

• Experience with agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum
